About us

Hey, you found us!

First, let’s introduce ourselves. We’re Phil Brown and Bomi Okuyiga, a Wedding, Engagement, and Portrait Photography duo based in East London.

What is now Brown & Bomi started off as Phil’s personal project, where he wanted to translate his enthusiasm for photography into making lasting memories for couples on their special day. Bomi would assist on shoots when necessary, making sure the day was captured from all angles. After Bomi returned from a period of studying in the US in 2023, we decided to embark on a rebrand of Phil’s business and formally go at it together.

Bomi’s born and bred East London (the only borough she can’t claim is Tower Hamlets!), while Phil made his way around Farnborough and Fleet before settling in London eight years ago. We love street photography, travelling to new places (the fun is in the planning!) and taking our bikes for a spin.

Our photography

We mainly shoot in a blend of documentary and portrait styles to capture the small details of the day and tell the story. Expect to be wowed by how we capture those stolen glances and cherished laughs from family members. We also won’t forget those sought after ‘mantlepiece’ pictures for friends and family. We’re flexible and our priority is to work with a style that’s your wish - from candid, to classical and editorial. Don’t worry if you’re not used to being behind the camera, we’re here to make the experience as relaxing and carefree for you.

We offer the following services:

Wedding Photography

Each wedding is different, and flexibility is our main priority. We are available for hourly, half day and full day bookings. With each booking you will receive:

  • Edited photos on a secure password protected online gallery (or USB stick if preferred)

  • Consultations before the wedding and a complementary engagement shoot

  • Scouting and visiting the venue in advance.

For London-based weddings, prices can start from:

  • £400+ for a two-hour booking with a single shooter

  • £750+ for a half day with one or two shooters

  • £1,800+ for a full day with both of us as shooters.

Portrait & Engagement Photography

We are also available in hour long bookings for engagement and portrait photography (please state if you have a preference for one of us). Remember that if you book us for your wedding, a complementary engagement shoot is included as standard. We can travel to on location shoots, arrange a studio, and do editorial, or classical styles. As with weddings, your package will include scouting, consultations, edits and aftercare. Travel further afield is also possible, just let us know your needs.
